Uttar Pradesh dominated Kerala with a staggering 70-25 victory in the boys match of the 50th Junior National Kabaddi Championship in Haridwar on Friday. Haryana outplayed Himachal Pradesh 61-31. Maharashtra defeated Delhi 42-20, and Jharkhand overcame Jammu & Kashmir with a close 39-30 win.

Hosts Uttarakhand secured a hard-fought 53-44 win against Punjab. Goa outclassed Tamil Nadu 43-29, and Andhra Pradesh triumphed over Bihar 37-21. In a low-scoring match, UP defeated Chandigarh 19-8.

In the evening session, SAI defeated Punjab 54-24 on Court 1, while Tamil Nadu edged out Maharashtra 37-32 on Court 2.

In the girls matches, UP and Chhattisgarh locked in a thrilling 31-31 draw. Maharashtra defeated Uttarakhand 37-25, Assam triumphed over Telangana 33-24, and Chandigarh overwhelmed Manipur 39-2. Haryana outclassed Madhya Pradesh 56-27, Gujarat defeated Delhi 31-18, and Punjab dominated Jharkhand with a 31-11 win.

In the evening session, SAI secured a commanding 39-7 victory over Gujarat , while Karnataka beat Himachal Pradesh 35-27.

Griffin start with win in SSK Premier League

Griffin C.A secured a comfortable win against Boundary Blazers in the SSK Premier League S2 that got underway in Nashik on Friday and will continue till January 29. Griffin chased down 128 in just 11.5 overs. K. Sanap was the star with the ball, taking four wickets to restrict the Blazers to 127/6 in 20 overs. In the chase, K. Jaiswal shone with 48 runs off 35 balls, smashing six sixes and a four, while V. Pawar added a quick 45 off 27 balls with nine fours. Total 16 teams are participating in the event managed by Fore Titans.

Krishna CA claimed a convincing victory over Shivam D CA in a Group 2 clash, successfully chasing 119 in just 13.1 overs. K. Yadav was the standout bowler, taking 3 wickets for just 14 runs in his four overs, helping dismiss Shivam D CA for 118 in 19.1 overs. In the chase, R. Shinde contributed a steady 33 off 29 balls, hitting four boundaries at a strike rate of 113. The star of the innings was V. Thorat, who smashed an impressive 51 off 39 balls, including four fours and four sixes, at a strike rate of 130, steering Krishna CA to a comfortable win.

Meri Green C.C secured an impressive win against RV Sports in a Group 2 match, successfully chasing down 160 in just 18.2 overs. S. Raut shone with the ball, taking three crucial wickets to restrict RV Sports to 159 all out in 20 overs. In the chase, P. Narole anchored the innings with a brilliant 56 off 32 balls, smashing 5 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 175. He was complemented by G. Jadhav, who played a blazing knock of 36 off just 15 balls, hitting five sixes at a staggering strike rate of 240, sealing a thrilling victory for Meri Green C.C.
