‘Udyamotsav 2025,’ a grand initiative by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is set to celebrate National Startup Day remarkably. The event will be inaugurated tomorrow at 9:30am at the MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) campus in Kothrud, Pune. This announcement was made by Prof Prakash Joshi, Director of MIT TBI and Founder of MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions, Dr Milind Pandey, Pro-Vice Chancellor of MIT-WPU and Ninad Patil, CEO of MIT Technology Business Incubator, at a press briefing.

Inspired by the Central Government’s Shark Tank initiative, ‘Udyamotsav 2025’ aims to bridge the gap between students, budding entrepreneurs, and the investor community. The platform celebrates startups emerging from academic institutions and incubation centres across India. It provides a unique opportunity for startups to pitch their ideas to investors, secure funding and establish strategic partnerships, fostering a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The event’s highlight is its focus on facilitating direct dialogue between investors and startups. Entrepreneurs will present their innovations, interact with prominent investors and explore new collaborations that could transform their ventures into success stories.

‘Udyamotsav 2025’ will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including Dr Pradeep Dhande from AICTE, Bharat Oswal from JITO, CA Ninad Date, Jitendra Sapkal (Founder and CEO of RISE Capital), and others, who will provide insights into various aspects of entrepreneurship and innovation.

The event will connect investors and startups from 11 states, 13 cities, and 14 leading institutions, creating a nationwide network of innovation and opportunity. Additionally, ‘Udyamotsav 2025’ will also take place in other key cities, including Ahmedabad, Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Srinagar, Coimbatore, Nagpur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati.
