Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Furious over a misunderstanding, a man deliberately rammed his SUV into the rear of a car and attempted to kill an IT professional and his two relatives late Saturday night. The incident took place under Khajuri Sadak police station area. The three persons in the car received serious injuries and were admitted to the hospital.
An FIR has been registered for attempt to murder against Vishal Meena (29) and his brother Avinash Meena (26) and their aide Raju Nagar (25) and all the three accused have been arrested, said in-charge at Khajuri Sadak area Niraj Verma. Police have seized their SUV.
According to reports, IT professional Kushal Srivastava, 33, a resident of Semra area and his relatives Sunny Gupta and Ankit Gupta had gone to an eatery in Khajuri Sadak area on Saturday night. Kushal was laughing during the conversation with his relatives when Vishal Meena, who was also at the eatery with his brother and friend, thought that Kushal was mocking him. Furious over it, Vishal entered into a scuffle with Kaushal at the joint. Following the altercation, Kushal and his relatives left the eatery in his i10 car.
However, Vishal was still not done with the matter and so he chased Kaushal’s car in his SUV (Fortuner). Vishal, who was behind the wheels, rammed his SUV into the rear of Kaushal’s car. The impact of the collision was such that Kushal’s car hit the divider and skidded off to the other side of the road. Luckily, Kushal’s car airbags opened on time and he and his two relatives escaped with injuries. Locals rushed to the spot and admitted them to the hospital.
