She proudly said,

“Mission accomplished! How did it feel? We made a big impact, didn’t we?”

The family mentioned that they had no prior knowledge of Sophia’s involvement in the operation, which made the news even bigger and emotional.

Whereas, her sister-in-law, Uzma Qureshi, expressed her pride in her by saying, “Just as women’s ‘Sindoor’ was targeted, women led the revenge. This shows that women are not inferior in any manner, they are leading in all the possible fields.”

Sofiya’s father is a retired Army officer, she said, it was his dedication to the nation that inspired her to join the armed forces.

Sofiya’s uncle Wali Muhammad, also a retired army man, recalled, ‘She always had an interest in weapons and used to say she would join the army. Our father served in the army, and also we three brothers. Even now, if the country needs us, we’re ready to sacrifice.”

Sofiya’s cousin Mohammad Rizwan, a mechanical engineer, added, “She was excellent in studies but not very interested in sports. We feel very proud that she briefed the entire world about Operation Sindoor. It’s a moment of great honor for our family. India has faced enough, now our armed forces are giving a fitting reply.”

Sofiya’s niece Ayesha Qureshi said she felt proud seeing her aunt on TV and now wants to be just like her. The family is overjoyed and inspired by her courage and success.

As tensions continue between the countries, the family strongly believes that with such brave women in the forces, terrorism in Pakistan will soon be defeated.
