Mira-Bhayandar: The anti-narcotics cell (ANC) attached to the Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar (MBVV) police arrested a Nigerian national who was found to be in possession of mephedrone (MD) worth Rs.12 lakh in Nallasopara (east) on Wednesday.

A night patrolling team from the ANC headed by police inspector-Sachin Kamble spotted a Nigerian national seated on a bike in the Pragati Nagar area of Nallasopara (east).

The peddler who has been identified as- Johnson Walker (42)- an original inhabitant of Lagos City in southwest Nigeria, currently staying in Pragati Nagar was apparently waiting for someone to deliver the contraband.
