Delhi: In a shocking incident, a speeding car rammed into people other vehicles and pedestrians in Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar area in broad daylight on Monday. The horrific accident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the driver rammed the speeding car into other bikes and pedestrians due to which around four people suffered serious injuries.
A minor child also suffered injuries in the horrific accident. There are reports that the car was driven by a minor after which a case has been registered by the police and the accused has been apprehended.
The incident occurred on Monday morning at around 10 AM in Adarsh Nagar area of the national capital. The incident was caught on the CCTV camera installed in the area. It can be seen in the video that around four people are having a conversation on the side of the road with bikes parked. Another biker is seen going in the opposite direction and a pedestrian is seen walking with the child in his arms.
A white-coloured Hyundai Santro car came at a fast speed and rammed into all the people present on the road. The car first rammed into the white scooter which was going in the opposite direction, dragging the driver and then hit the man walking with the child in his arms. The car then rammed into the bikes parked on the side of the road and the four persons having conversation near the parked bikes.
Among all the injured, the minor child suffered serious injuries and it is being said that the kid is in critical condition. It can be seen in the video that the people present at the spot pulled the kid from beneath the car and run on the road to reach the hospital. Other people apprehended the driver after pulling him out of the car which stopped after hitting a wall or pole on the other side of the road.
There are reports that the police have registered a case in connection with the matter and the driver is being taken into the custody. The police are also investigating the CCTV footage. The minor kid is reportedly receiving treatment for his injuries at the hospital.
