Mumbai: Gold and silver prices fell again after opening higher in the Mumbai jewelery market today. Fluctuations were also seen in world market news. The price of gold in the world market was Rs 2639 to 2640, high was Rs 2651 and low was Rs 2636 to Rs 2642 to 2643.
Behind gold, global silver prices were in the range of $30.81-30.82, higher at $31.14 and lower at $30.70-30.72-30.73 an ounce. At the domestic level, prices were seen in a narrow range. In the jewelery market in Ahmedabad today, gold prices were at Rs 78,700 at Rs 99.50 per 10 grams and Rs 78,900 at Rs 99.90 per kg, while Ahmedabad silver prices were at Rs 91,000 per kg.
Meanwhile, in Mumbai bullion market, gold price without GST was Rs 76,018 at 99.50, Rs 76,420 at 99.50, Rs 76,324 at Rs 76,392. Whereas in Mumbai, silver prices increased from Rs 89980 to Rs 90350 to Rs 9025 without GST. Crude oil prices were increased in the world market.
OPEC, the organization of petroleum exporting countries, was keeping an eye on Thursday’s meeting. Analysts were pointing to the possibility that the decision to increase production in the OPEC meeting may be postponed. America was about to impose new sanctions on Iran’s crude oil. Brent crude prices ranged from $74.28 to $73.78, hitting a high of $72.94 a barrel. US crude prices were at $70.51 to $70.01, at a high of $69.22.
Meanwhile, the American Petroleum Institute said that the crude oil reserves in America have increased by 12 lakh 32 thousand barrels. Meanwhile, platinum prices in the global market today ranged from a high of 953 to 954 to 955 and a low of 936 to 938 to 939 dollars an ounce. Palladium prices ranged from $989 to $990, from $960 to $964 to $965.
