Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh is experiencing a chilly weather at the end of the month. The average minimum temperature in the state’s big cities is hovering below 12°C. The capital city Bhopal witnessed a chilly night with a temperature of 8.2°C, whereas Indore remained at 12.2 °C.

On the other hand, Jabalpur is equivalent to Bhopal with 8.5 °C, Ujjain at 12°C and Gwalior experiences 10°C on Friday night.

What do meteorologists say?

According to meteorologist Pramendra Kumar, the jet stream currently flows at an altitude of 12.6 km. If it descends, the chills will intensify in the state. Additionally, a cyclonic circulation in the eastern region and a deep depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal are contributing to the decrease in temperature of the state.
