Actor Mohit Sehgal, best known for his role in the show Miley Jab Hum Tum, left his fans shocked as he announced that his father has passed away. He shared the news with his followers on social media on Wednesday, and along with that, penned a heartbreaking note for his late father.
Mohit took to his Instagram to share a photo holding his father’s hand. Along with that, he wrote, “Holding on to what matters most, always. Time to heal and step forward, carrying your love with me. Miss you papa (sic).”
As soon as he shared the news, his friends and fans sent their condolences in the comments section and urged the actor to stay strong. “He will be always there with you,” Addite Malik commented, while Dalljiet Kaur wrote, “Tight hug Mohit”.
Mohit marked his small screen debut as one of the protagonists in the daily soap, Miley Jab Hum Tum, co-starring Sanaya Irani. He went on to star in shows like Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Parichay — Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka, Sarojini – Ek Nayi Pehal and Naagin 5, among others. He was also a part of Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout.
During his stint on Miley Jab Hum Tum, Mohit began dating his co-star Sanaya, and they announced their relationship on the last day of the show’s shoot on November 19, 2010.
Mohit and Sanaya got engaged in December 2015, and in January 2016, they tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Goa, in the presence of their friends and family members.
