News India Live, Digital Desk: Microsoft Launched Surface Pro 12 and Surface Laptop 13: Microsoft has introduced two new AI-powered devices in its popular Surface Series-Surface Pro 12 and Surface Laptop 13. Both devices come with the new Snapdragon X Plus chip of Qualcomm and provide smart features like Copilot+ based on AI technology.
Surface Laptop 13 – Small Size, Big Performance
Surface Laptop 13 is a compact but extremely powerful device. The company claims that it is 50 percent faster than Surface Laptop 5 and can also beat the Apple Macbook Air M3 in performance. Its 13 -inch touchscreen display comes with 1920 × 1280 pixels resolution and 60Hz refresh rates. The battery life is also fantastic, which accompanies 23 hours on video playback and 16 hours on web browsing. The device comes with USB Type-C and USB TYPE-A ports and supports 60W fast charging.
Surface Pro 12 – Tablet look, laptop strength
Surface Pro 12 is for users who want more flexibility and portability. This device, designed by the tablet, has a 12.3 -inch LCD screen, which has a resolution of 2196 × 1464 pixels and gets a refresh rate of 90Hz. Its battery can support video playback and 12 hours of internet browsing for 16 hours. Keyboard accessory with Surface Pro 12 will have to be purchased separately.
Special AI features – Recall and Natural Language Search
The main feature of both these devices is their AI features. These include the ‘Recall’ feature that re -provides the information you have seen as a screenshot timeline. This optional has been kept due to privacy. Apart from this, there is also a Natural Language Search feature, through which users can find files and settings like interaction in general language.
Price and availability
Microsoft has launched these devices at a much lower price than the expensive Snapdragon X Elite models of the previous generation. The starting price of Surface Pro 12 is $ 799, while Surface Laptop starts at 13 $ 899. Both these devices are mainly designed for students, professionals and creative users, who want to take advantage of AI features at a low price. At present, their price and launch date have not been announced in India.
