Meta recently a new mobile app Edits Launched, which is available on both Android and iOS platforms. With the help of this app, users can now directly do video records, edit and export from their smartphone. Short videos like Instagram reels can also be made through the app. META claims that the Edits app has been designed in such a way that users will not require different apps to make videos.
Edits The app is different from the editing tools of Instagram and can be used to make videos and edit on any social media platforms. However, it is necessary to log in from the Instagram account to use it.

Through this app, users can record videos directly. A clip of up to 10 minutes can be recorded at a time, which does not require other apps to make long videos. -
Editing:
The app has a timeline-based editing interface. Users can trim clips, add transitions and also apply visual effects. There is also a facility to replace the background with a green screen feature. -
Exporting:
After editing the video, it can be shared directly on Instagram, Facebook or any other platform. META says that there will be no watermark in the exported video, which will give content creators experience better content sharing. -
Performance Matrix:
Once the video is published, the app also shows how many people watched the video, where skipped and other performance matrix. This helps the creators understand how effective their content is.
How does the app work?
Users can download this app from App Store or Google Play Store. After downloading the app, one has to log in from the Instagram account. Next, users can record videos from the app or import videos from the phone’s gallery. After this, the video begins to edit, such as cutting video, changing order, adjusting audio and adding effects – all within the app.
