Yashasvi Jaiswal: After losing 2 matches in the Test series against Australia, the players of the Indian team have suffered a shock in the batsman rankings recently announced by ICC. In this ranking, apart from one, no Indian batsman could make it to the list of top-10 batsmen. The performance of the Indian team’s batsmen was very poor in the Test series being played against Australia. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal impressed everyone with his brilliant performance in this series. Only Yashasvi Jaiswal from India is included in the list of top-10 batsmen.

Jaiswal batted strongly against Australia

Yashasvi Jaiswal has batted brilliantly for India so far in the Border Gavaskar Trophy being played against Australia. Jaiswal has been the highest run scorer for India in this series. Jaiswal scored a brilliant century in the Perth Test. Apart from this, Jaiswal scored half-centuries in both the innings of Melbourne Test. Now in the latest ICC batsman rankings, Yashasvi Jaiswal has come to fourth place with 854 rating points.

None other than Jaiswal is included in the top-10 list.

Apart from Jaiswal, no Indian player is included in the list of top-10 batsmen. Due to poor performance in this series, wicketkeeper and batsman Rishabh Pant has also suffered a setback in the rankings. Pant is now out of the list of top-10 batsmen. Pant remains at 12th position in the list with 701 rating points. Apart from Pant, Shubman Gill remains at 20th position with 645 rating points.

 

Rohit is at 40th place

Talking about Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, the condition of these two senior players in ICC Better Rankings is very bad. Currently, Virat Kohli is at 23rd position with 633 rating points. Rohit Sharma is at 40th position with 560 rating points. The performance of these two players was very poor in the Test series against Australia.
