The Meghalaya Police have announced the cancellation of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for various positions. Applicants who participated in the PET can check the official notice on the Meghalaya Police website, megpolice.gov.in.
The official statement reads, “This is to inform all candidates that the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), as per L/No. PTS/CRB/RECR/2024/418 dated Shillong, 7th November 2024, is hereby CANCELLED with immediate effect due to technical issues encountered during the PET held at the 1st MLP Bn., Mawiong, and 4th MLP Bn., Sohpian.”
A new PET will be held for all candidates, including those who attended the test at the 1st MLP Bn., Mawiong, and 4th MLP Bn., Sohpian, from November 18 to December 21, 2024. Candidates who clear the physical test will be eligible for the written exam and interview stages.
Rescheduled PET Dates
Below are the revised PET dates for different centres:
3rd MLP Bn., Sahbsein, Jowai: December 13 to December 20, 2024
5th MLP Bn., Samanda, Williamnagar, and 4th MLP Bn., Sohpian, Nongstoin: January 6 to January 11, 2025
1st MLP Bn., Mawiong, Shillong, and 2nd MLP Bn., Goeragre, Tura: January 13 to February 15, 2025

Meghalaya Police PET 2024: Admit Card Information
Candidates who attended the PET at 3rd MLP Bn., Sahbsein, Jowai can download their admit cards from the Meghalaya Police website starting December 6, 2024. Admit cards for other PET centres will be available for download from December 16, 2024.
Correction of Application
Candidates will have the opportunity to modify or correct their details online before the admit card is generated. They should verify their information before downloading the admit card. If candidates need to change the date of their PET, they should submit a request to the Member Secretary of the Central Recruitment Board.
