UP: Meerut Police Official Suspended After Obscene Pictures Of Him At Spa Centre Go Viral; Cop Denies Wrongdoing |

Meerut (UP): Jailchungi Police Outpost In-charge Sneh Prakash Azad was suspended after obscene photos and videos allegedly involving him went viral on social media. The videos are reportedly from a spa centre. Following a complaint by a young woman, SSP Meerut suspended the official and ordered an investigation into the matter.

The complainant, a resident of the Nauchandi police station area, approached the SSP’s office on Tuesday. She alleged that she used to work at The Caesar Family Salon in Mangal Pandey Nagar, where the official frequently visited. The woman claimed that Azad has close ties with the spa centre owner.

According to an Amar Ujala news portal report, during the complainant’s tenure at the spa, she was allegedly pressured into engaging in unethical activities, which led her to quit her job. She further accused the official of filing a false case against her at the Medical police station and threatening to send her to jail.

According to her, Azad also pressured her to return to the spa centre and engage in inappropriate activities. The woman alleged that Azad, in an inebriated state, called her to his residence in Sarvodaya Colony and misbehaved with her. She recorded the incident on video and submitted it as evidence.

Action Against Accused Cop

The SSP assured strict action and the matter has triggered widespread outrage. Shanky Verma, president of the Meerut Vyapar Mandal, contacted SP City Ayush Vikram Singh and demanded stern action against the officer. He also announced plans to submit a formal complaint to the District Magistrate seeking the closure of the spa centre.

On November 18, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit raided The Caesar Family Salon following allegations of illegal activities, including operating a sex racket under the guise of a spa. A case was registered and the spa was briefly shut down before resuming operations.

Accused Cop Denies Wrongdoing

Responding to the allegations, Azad denied wrongdoing and claimed the woman is making false accusations due to an ongoing case against her under Section 376 for allegedly supplying women. He stated that the viral videos were recorded eight months ago during his family vacation. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh confirmed Azad’s suspension and announced a departmental inquiry based on the evidence provided.
