Jammu, 29 November (HIST). Indian Army, continuing its mission to serve remote communities, recently conducted medical patrol in Batsiala, Reasi district. The initiative was aimed at providing vital health services to the underprivileged population including the local rural and Gujjar-Bakkarwal communities who often face challenges in accessing medical care.

The patrol was attended by a large number of people, with residents of Batsiala and surrounding areas availing themselves of their check-up, free medicines and preventive health advice. This effort was heartily appreciated by the beneficiaries who appreciated the dedication of the Indian Army to overcome the healthcare gap in this remote area.

This medical outreach is part of the Indian Army’s broader mission to promote community welfare and development in Jammu and Kashmir. Through such initiatives the Army not only ensures the well-being of the local residents but also strengthens the bonds of trust and cooperation with the communities it serves.
