Marking a key milestone in India, McLaren has successfully delivered 50 cars across the country. To celebrate, the British luxury automaker organized a special Celebration Drive, where McLaren owners embarked on a scenic journey from Udaipur to Mount Abu and back. The event was inaugurated at the historic Manak Chowk by Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, adding to its grandeur.
With an increasing demand for high-performance luxury cars in India, this achievement reflects McLaren’s growing presence in the market. Known for its cutting-edge technology and engineering excellence, McLaren continues to expand its footprint in the country’s premium automotive segment.
McLaren has made a significant mark in India’s luxury sports car market with its impressive lineup, which includes the Artura, 750S, and GT. The Artura stands out as a hybrid supercar, combining a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine and an electric motor for a combined output of 671bhp and 804Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3 seconds.
Meanwhile, the 750S, priced at Rs 5.91 crore, boasts a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 740bhp and 800Nm of torque, featuring upgraded components like lighter pistons and improved turbochargers. The McLaren GT, priced at Rs 3.72 crore, offers a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 612bhp and 630Nm, reaching 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. With these models, McLaren has catered to the increasing demand for high-performance, luxury cars in India.
