The flames continue to rage for the seventh day in California, America. Firefighters are having difficulty controlling the fire due to high winds and windy conditions.

 

At some places the fire has been successfully extinguished, while at some places new areas are coming under fire due to wind. The massive fire has taken the lives of more than 24 people so far. 16 people were reported missing in Eaton and Palisades. 40,000 acres of land has been burnt to ashes in the massive fire. Scenes of destruction due to fire are visible everywhere. Till now the American economy has suffered a loss of 150 billion dollars i.e. about Rs 13 lakh crore. 29,000 acres of land has been completely destroyed. More than 12,000 houses have been destroyed. More than 3 lakh people have migrated. About 1.5 lakh people are trapped in darkness. According to the weather department, Tuesday is the exam day. Wind speed is fluctuating which is making it difficult to extinguish the fire.
