Bhopal: Massive Fire Erupts At Garbage Dumps, Flame Soars Up to 50 Feet High | AI generated

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A massive fire broke out in the garbage pit located in Adampur, Bhopal on Tuesday afternoon. The raging flames soared up to 50 feet high, and the smoke was visible from several kilometers away.

Smoke started coming out of the garbage

According to officials blaze originated when suddenly smoke started coming out from the RDF heap near the main gate of the pit. When the fire broke out, the employees present there tried to remove the garbage.

At around 1 pm, the garbage lying in the pit caught fire, which gradually became fierce.

As soon as the information about the fire in the pit was received, the fire brigade of the Municipal Corporation rushed to the spot and and started battling the blaze. However, the fire remained raged for the next two hours.

According to a district official the smoke from the garbage reached many nearby villages. Due to which people experienced irritation in their eyes. Fire brigades are trying to control it

Fire breaks out every year

Let us tell you that fire breaks out in the garbage pit every year and thousands of quintals of garbage are burnt. District member Prajapati says that fire breaks out frequently during summer. A few days ago also a huge fire broke out, which was brought under control after a long time.

District officials expressed concern over the nature of such fires every year

District member Mr. Prajapati said “Every year during summer, these garbage pits catch fire due to high temperatures and combustible material. A similar incident occurred just a few days ago,” , urging the administration to implement long-term fire prevention measures at the site
