Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): A mass wedding ceremony for 76 underprivileged couples was held Behpur, where Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda and Women and Child Development minister Nirmala Bhuria prominently attended. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Kanyadan is a profound act of generosity. He praised the success of the Chief Minister’s initiative and announced plans for a Manglik Bhawan in Behpur.
Minister Bhuria expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to participate and encouraged everyone to worship cows. The event also featured blessings from Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Gyananand Tirtha Maharaj and the presence of MP Sudhir Gupta. Each couple received Rs 49k through the Kanya Vivah Sahayata Yojana.
Inauguration of Indoor Sports Complex at Narayangarh
Mandsaur Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda and Minister-in-charge Nirmala Bhuria inaugurated an Indoor Sports Complex at Narayangarh, constructed at a cost of Rs 1.69 crore. Following the ceremony, both officials participated in table tennis and badminton.
The event featured virtual participation from notable figures, including Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya. Deputy Chief Minister emphasised the government’s commitment to enhance sports infrastructure. Plans for a new stadium at Narayangarh were also announced, with intentions to name the indoor hall after Swami Vivekananda. Devda extended heartfelt congratulations to all athletes.
