The vehicle will be based on a completely new ‘Heartect-E’ platform, especially designed for electric vehicles. This SUV will be available in two different battery variants-one is a large battery of 61.1 kwh and a small battery of 48.9 kwh.
In a large battery variant, you will get a strong power of 171 bhp and torque of 192 Nm, which will take less than 9 seconds to catch it from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour! At the same time, the small battery version will give 141 bhp power.
This SUV can bring a major change in the electric vehicle market, especially for those who want to get rid of the rising prices of petrol and diesel and the problem of pollution and are environmentally aware.
2. New 5-seater SUV: Creta will get a tough competition!
Maruti is preparing to bring another new 5-seater mid-size SUV this year, which will fill the space between Brezza and Grand Vitara. This SUV will be sold through Maruti’s ‘Arena’ dealership and it will be slightly longer than the Grand Vitara, which means that you will get more boot space (place to keep luggage).
Its name is not yet confirmed, but it can be called ‘Escudo’. Within the company it is being identified with its codename ‘Y17’. In this SUV, Maruti will offer its well-known and reliable 1.5-liter K15C mild-hybrid and 1.5-liter strong-hybrid engine options. Apart from this, it is also expected to get the option of CNG and AWD (All Wheel Drive), which will make it even more versatile.

3. Maruti Fronx Hybrid: King of Mileage!
Maruti is also going to introduce a new hybrid version of its popular SUV Fronx by the end of this year. The vehicle will be based on the company’s own HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) technology, which is known for giving excellent mileage. The Fronx Hybrid will have a 1.2-liter Z12e petrol engine, which will become even more efficient in collaboration with the hybrid system.
