The country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has announced the results for the second quarter (July-September) of the current financial year 2024-25. The company’s consolidated net profit declined by 18 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,102 crore in the July-September quarter.
The company told the stock market on Tuesday that the consolidated net profit of Maruti Suzuki India declined by 18.06 percent to Rs 3102.50 crore in the July-September quarter as compared to Rs 3786.20 crore in the same period of the last financial year. According to MSI, its sales in the second quarter have increased by 0.14 percent to Rs 35586.50 crore whereas in the same quarter ending September 2023 it was Rs 35535.20 crore.
In the information sent to the stock exchanges, MSI said that during the July-September quarter of the current financial year 2024-25, its operating income has increased to Rs 37,449 crore, which was Rs 37,339 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year 2023-24. .
