A video being circulated online purportedly shows a woman harassing her parents for property by hurling bricks at their house. It is being claimed that the woman has been harassing her parents like this for months.
The X account that appears to have uploaded the video claims that the police have not taken cognisance of the parents’ ordeal.
The post further says that Surekha Kumari, the woman in the video, has severed ties with her parents after marrying a man of her choice.
However, she is now pressing her parents for their property has been hurling stones, bricks and even glass at their house. The CCTV recording is purportedly from Jagdishpura in Agra. The post goes on to say that police haven’t done anything in spite of a complaint from the woman’s parents.

Raising awareness about the incident on social media has apparently helped as the video has a comment from a handle described as official account of DCP City, Agra.
The comment, made in Hindi, says that the police department has taken a complaint and further investigation and action was going on.
Netizens have reacted angrily on the incident visible in the video.
“This woman should not be given any of her parents’ property,” said a comment.
“This is pure evil,” said another.
“Forget about property, such a daughter shouldn’t even be allowed to use her parents’ name,” opined an X user.
