Marathwada Administration Pledges Support to Industries, Emphasizes Collaboration for Growth and Safety |
“The administration is committed to resolving the problems of the industries and providing facilities for roads, transport, parking, water, electricity, and safety. Everyone should work together to make Marathwada prosperous by creating a positive atmosphere for industries,” opined divisional commissioner Dilip Gawade.
He was addressing a meeting of the district collectors of all eight districts of the division, SPs, and officers related to the industries department, industrialists, and industry representatives held at Auric City Hall on Saturday. Special Director General of Police of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar range Virendra Mishra was also present.
Gawade further said the concerned officers should organize meetings with the industrialists and investors at the district level to resolve the problems of the industries. The law and order situation in the industrial areas should be enforced rigorously.
The issues at the state and central levels should be addressed through memorandums, and immediate actions should be taken at the local level if possible.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the district collectors of Latur, Varsha Thakur-Ghuge, and acting district collector of Jalna, Rita Metrewar, were felicitated on a representative level.
Dharashiv SP Sanjay Jadhav highlighted the role of the administration in industries through a PowerPoint presentation. Beed’s district collector, Avinash Pathak, informed about the eight-point program for industries.
Mishra appealed to the industries that complaints regarding thefts of goods from projects and illegal activities in the industrial area should be lodged with the concerned police stations, assuring that immediate action would be taken. He also directed the installation of CCTV cameras, safety measures in the premises, and the appointment of private guards and private patrolling.
Representatives from the Waluj Industries Association, Marathwada Chamber of Commerce and Industry, MASSIA, CiMIA, CII, WIA, Laghu Udyog Bharti, Devgiri Electronic Cluster, Marathwada Auto Cluster, MAGIC, and others were present. Additional commissioner K.R. Pardeshi made an introductory speech, while Parbhani district collector Raghunath Gawade proposed a vote of thanks.
