Mumbai – Famous actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar died in a hospital in Mumbai in the early hours of Friday. He was 87 years old. His family friend and filmmaker Ashok Pandit said that Manoj Kumar was ill for a long time and he breathed his last at around 3:30 pm due to age related problems.

Ashok Pandit expressed condolences on his demise, saying, “Honored with Dadasaheb Phalke Award, our inspiration and pillar of Indian film industry Manoj Kumar ji’s Jaana is an irreparable loss to the world of cinema. The whole film industry will always remember him.”
