In a podcast, TV actor Sandeep Anand revealed that the role of Manmohan Tiwari was first offered to him. He had also signed the contract for the character, but later the makers finalized Rohitash Gaur for this role.
What was the reason?
Sandeep told:
“When I learned about the character in detail, I felt that Manmohan Tiwari should be above 40 years of age. At that time I was only 30-31 years old. I spoke to producer Binafar Kohli ma’am and said that this character would not fit me. Due to age I will not be able to do justice to the character.”
Why did Rohitash Gaur get this role?
The makers understood Sandeep’s point and signed Rohitash Gaur. Rohitash not only played this character well but also made it the most popular character of the show.
Why did Sandeep Anand leave the role?
