Delhi : The Supreme Court on Thursday indicated to set up an inquiry commission to investigate cases related to sports organizations in the country and said that apart from sports organizations, all kinds of things are happening. The bench said that we are in favor of setting up an inquiry commission for a thorough investigation into the functioning of kabaddi organizations, as many things are happening in these organizations besides sports activities. Additional Solicitor General KM Natraj, appearing for the central government, told the Supreme Court that as per the February 4 order of the bench, athletes were sent to a competition in Iran, where they won gold medals.

 

Its process is being prepared in the case of CBI investigation. When the additional Solicitor General asked for two weeks to work on the idea, the bench said that it would investigate the functioning of all state and international sports bodies in the country and would dissolve them if necessary.
