Bengaluru: A shocking incident surfaced from Karnataka, where a man allegedly tried to sexually harass a woman on Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus. The woman recorded a video of the man and shared it on her X post on Friday.
The woman alleged that the man tried to sneak his hand from behind. When he was caught by the woman, he denied it. In the video, the man could be seen hiding his face with his hoodie. She claimed that the accused told her that “nothing happened” to her.
“This guy in the bus tried sneaking his hand from back, when I caught him, he denied & later told that “nothing happened to you right, you were fine” these are potential rapist, imagine if they can do this in crowded bus what their potential is, this country is not safe for women.” she wrote on her X handle along with the video.

In another post, the woman said that she would never travel by bus. The KSRTC responded to the woman’s X post and asked her to provide ticket details to trace the accused.
“If ticket details are provided, we would able to identify the vehicle and route details,” the KSRTC said. The woman then shared the details.

However, there are no reports of whether the man was traced.
KSRTC Bus Conductor Sexually Harasses Woman:
It is not the first such instance on the KSRTC bus. Last month, a KSRTC conductor allegedly sexually harassed a young woman sleeping on the bus The incident was recorded on a mobile camera by a fellow passenger. A video of the incident, which took place on Wednesday, has surfaced online.
The accused has been identified as Pradeep Kashappa Naikar (35) from Bagalkote. In the video shared by Telugu Scribe, it could be seen that the young girl was sleeping in the KSRTC bus plying on the Mudipu-State Bank route near Mangaluru.
The video shows the conductor standing next to the young woman and repeatedly touching the woman inappropriately and sexually harassing her.
After the video went viral on social media, the bus conductor was suspended by authorities. He was also taken into custody by the police
