Man Strangulates Friend To Death In Madhya Pradesh’s Morena | Representative Image
Morena (Madhya Pradesh): A man killed his friend by strangulating him with a muffler during a drunken brawl in a shocking incident under Ambah police station area. Initially, the police assumed the death resulted from excessive alcohol consumption but CCTV footage later revealed it to be a murder. The accused has been taken into custody.
According to police, 40-year-old Rajendra Sakhwar and his friend Annu Parmar were consuming alcohol near a liquor shop when an argument broke out between them. After they became heavily drunk, the altercation escalated and Annu strangled Rajendra with a muffler. He tightened it multiple times, eventually causing Rajendra’s death.
CCTV Footage revealed truth
Being heavily drunk, Rajendra was unable to resist. When police discovered the body, they initially registered a case of unnatural death, suspecting alcohol as the cause. However, CCTV footage from the scene revealed the truth.
The CCTV footage shows Annu strangling Rajendra multiple times with the muffler. This video has since gone viral on social media. ASP Gopal Singh Dhakad said, “The autopsy has been conducted and a case has been registered. The CCTV footage shows the accused strangling the victim. The accused has been rounded up, and a formal case will be registered soon.”
