Man ditches sports wear, participates in kurta & kurtan

A man was captured in a groom’s attire during the sports event. While most people wore t-shirts and trackpants to run the marathon, this man caught FPJ’s attention for his uncommon looks. Ditching the sports wear, this man wore a ethnic kurta and carried a wedding turban on his head.

With that said, the man also carried a eye-catching placard in his hand. “Will I get married?”, it read. “Where is my Dulhan”, read another poster which came with the message of “Saving girl child”.

The video showed the man dressed like a groom, holding this placard, and carrying a flower garland at the TATA Mumbai marathon.

Groom hails from Kharghar, Navi Mumbai

When FPJ anchor Neelima Kulkarni came across this man at the sports event, he couldn’t resist from interacting with him. She learned that the marathon runner had come from Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

The Tata Mumbai Marathon was held in the city on Sunday, January 19, attracting participants from across the globe. This annual marathon is said to be one of the top marathons in the world.
