Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Police rescue a man who attempted suicide as his wife fled after assaulting him & threatened him with dire consequences following a dispute over eating lunch in Aerodrome police station area on Friday. Most often, we hear that women lodge complaints of domestic violence, but here, the man became a victim of his wife’s assault.
The police registered a case against the woman for assault, abuse, and threatening on the complaint of the victim. According to the police, one Pushpendra Kumar Jain, a resident of Ahilya Nagar, lodged a complaint stating that when he reached home to have lunch on Friday, his wife Priyanka Jain started quarreling with him about eating lunch and started abusing him.
Man fled from house with child
When he objected, she assaulted him and the victim cried for help. Then she told him that he should behave properly with her or else she would kill him.
Later, her wife fled from the house and also took his child. The victim called police who rescued him while he was attempting to commit suicide by hanging. The police registered a case against the woman under sections 296, 115(2), 351(3) of the BNS.
