Mohammad Alam, a resident of Bhagalpur in Bihar, was seen involving himself in instances of animal cruelty. A series of disturbing videos shared by Alam on Instagram recorded him engaging in monstrous acts with dogs. In one of the videos that has gone viral and resulted in an uproar, the Bihar-based content creator was seen mercilessly assaulting a dog by tying it upside down on a tree.
The concerning footage recorded the man being identified as Alam kicking and swinging the dog heartlessly to satisfy his craze for social media reels.

A video showed the man repeatedly kicking the dog after tying it to a tree. Another clip showed him standing on a tree’s branch holding the leash of the dog and swinging it.
There were many such reels on Alam’s Instagram page, which upset and angered netizens. It made animal lovers call demand strict action against the reel creator who used the voiceless creature for his disrespect and harmful “stunts”. The videos were uploaded online as “stunts”, but were instead visuals drawing the attention of people towards animal cruelty
Now, these videos are going viral across social media platforms. Animal lovers are widely circulating these visuals and urging officials to punish the man who ill-treated the dog by tying it on a tree.

Animal activist Tarun Agarwal reported these reels on X and tagged the local police to look into the matter. He also shared details about the ‘monster’ seen in the video while terming his actions as “Barbaric”, which needed immediate action.
Mumbai cop and animal rescuer Sudhir Kudalkar also reposted the video and condemned the issue. In his post, the police officer wrote, “It’s truly upsetting to see how some individuals, in pursuit of views and attention, exploit their pets for stunts and entertainment. In Bhagalpur, Bihar, a video has surfaced showing a pet being used in a way that causes distress, all for the sake of a few moments of fame”.
Alam’s videos, when circulated online, resulted in an uproar among animal lovers and activists. They echoed their voices for the dog’s rescue and the man’s arrest.
