Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 30-year-old man was murdered for raising objection to playing loud music at 84 Acres Jhuggi under Ayodhya police station limit on late Sunday night. An FIR has been registered against three persons in this connection and they have been arrested, police officials said.
Additional DCP of Zone 2, Mahaveer Singh Mujalde said primary investigations revealed that the accused identified as Pradeep Kushwaha, Prahlad Patel and Raju Kushwaha were playing loud music at around 12 on Sunday night.
Some locals including Manoj aka Mannu Chaure (30) approached the trio when they had a brawl among themselves. Additional DCP further claimed that Manoj objected to playing loud music and creating ruckus as he had a newborn in his family. It is alleged that Pradeep Kushwaha and his aides assaulted Manoj following an altercation over the issue. Pradeep whipped out a knife and stabbed Manoj in his throat. The trio fled as Manoj’s sister and other locals raised an alarm. Profusely bleeding Manoj was rushed to the Hamidia hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
An FIR has been registered against Pradeep, Prahlad Patel and Raju Kushwaha on complaint of Manoj’s relative Shivkant Kushwaha. The trio have been rounded up and were being questioned further in connection with the murder. Their past criminal records and activities were also being scanned, Additional DCP further said. Manoj left behind wife and kin and used to do odd jobs for livelihood, locals informed police.
