Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a man was mercilessly beaten up in Mumbai’s adjoining Mumbra area for allegedly roaming in towel. The video of the incident surfaced on Saturday and soon it went on social media. In the video, a crowd could seen thrashing the man in a towel with sticks.
The incident took place at the Khalil compound located at Khardi Road in Thane’s Mumbra. According to social media reports, the man has been identified as Mastakeem. In the video, three to four people could seen beating Mastakeen. He was crying for help, but no one came to save him.

Some social media users claimed that the victim was roaming in his towel on his balcony when the women living in her neighbourhood told their husbands about him. The exact date of the incident is not known.
He is reported to have sustained injuries. The police have not issued any statement in this regard. It is still not clear whether an FIR was filed in connection with the matter.
