The elevated nature trail at Malabar hill which was inaugurated on Sunday and thrown open to the public, has recieved overwhelming response. In two days over 3,400 citizens experienced the serene nature trail, which traverse through the Kamala Nehru Park and Ferozshah Mehta Garden.
As per a BMC officer, all slots were fully booked by Sunday late morning. Many more citizens wanted to buy tickets and experience the trail, but there is a limit of 200 people per hour to avoid overcrowding. The BMC has decided a cost of Rs 25 for the citizens for an hour slot and only 200 people are allowed per slot.


The BMC has provided online booking platform Malabar Hill nature trail- also known as Nisarg Unnar Marg and the slot can be booked 15 days in advance. The tickets can be booked on naturetrail.mcgm.gov.in. The walkway will be opened daily from 5 am to 9 pm.
As per a statement released by the BMC on Monday, “On the first day i.e Sunday, 1,053 citizens and tourists visited Malabar Hill walkway generating a revenue of Rs 26,925 from ticket bookings. On Monday, 2,346 visitors visited, generating Rs 60,300 in revenue. While several tickets have already been booked for the coming days.”
