Material for Makhana Chaat

  • 2 cups makhana
  • ½ cup peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cucumber
  • 1 tbsp green chutney
  • 1 tbsp of tamarind chutney
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon chaat masala

Method of making makhana chaat

  1. First, dry the makhana and peanuts in a pan on low flame. Toss these two until golden and crispy.
  2. Now add chili powder, salt, chaat masala, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes and chopped cucumber in a small bowl. Mix all the ingredients well.
  3. Next, add green chutney and tamarind chutney, then mix the roasted makhana and peanuts.
  4. Garnish the chaat with chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Add lemon juice to the chaat before serving. If you want to make it more crispy, you can also add salty to it.
