How to make E-Pan Card? (Step-by-step guide)

1. Go to Income Tax E-Filing Portal
First of all open the official website of Income Tax Department https://www.incometax.gov.in/ in your web browser.
2. Select Instant E-Pan option
- Go to the homepage and click on the Instant E-Pan option in the Quick Links section.
3. Apply to get a new E-PAN
- You will see two options:

🔹 Download PAN (Download PAN already made) - If you want to create a new PAN, click on Get New E-Pan.
4. Enter Aadhaar Number
- Enter the Aadhaar number of 12 digits.
- Tick ​​on checkbox to accept terms and conditions.
- Then click on Continue.
5. Verify Aadhaar via OTP
- An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.
- Enter this OTP and click on Continue.
6. Verify Aadhaar information
- The system will take name, date of birth, address and photo from your Aadhaar data.
- Carefully verify all the information and click on Continue.
7. Submit email address (optional)
- You may be asked email address.
- It is not mandatory to fill it, but it would be better to fill it to get information related to PAN in future.
8. E-PAN generation and get
- Your E-Pan will be ready after successful verification.
- You will get an ACKNOWLEDGMENT Number, from which you can check the status of E-Pan.

9. Download E-Pan
- Go to the Instant E-Pan section to download E-Pan.
