Material:

  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup swollen
  • 1 teaspoon chili flax
  • 1 pinch asafetida
  • Salt taste
  • 1 teaspoon ghee
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon dry coriander
  • 1 teaspoon fennel
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mango powder
  • 1/2 cup boondi

Method of preparation:

  1. Boil the peas – Wash green peas thoroughly and boil it in water. When the peas cook well, remove its water and let it cool.
  2. Prepare semolina flour – Heat 2 cups of water in a pan, add 1 teaspoon of ghee, salt and chili flax. Now add semolina to it and keep stirring until it absorbs the water completely. Turn off the gas and allow the mixture to cool. When it becomes lukewarm, knead it like flour.
  3. Make peas stuffing – Heat some oil in a pan. Add cumin, fennel and coarsely dry coriander to it. Then add finely chopped onion and fry. When the onion becomes light golden, add boiled peas and add turmeric, red chilli, salt, mango powder and garam masala and mix well.
  4. Add the boondi and mash – Add the crushed boondi to the pea stuffing and mix it well with the masher.
  5. Make kachori – Make small dough of semolina flour, apply a little ghee on your hands and fill it with light hands.
  6. Cook in app pan – Grease the app pan and keep the prepared kachoris in it and cook till it becomes golden.

Just ready, without oil fried healthy and crispy peas! Serve them hot with green chutney or curd and enjoy guilt-fie.
