Ashoknagar (Madhya Pradesh): A video has surfaced of a 22-year-old man talking about ending his life by consuming poison near the pond in Ashoknagar on Wednesday.

The man, identified as Rakesh Kushwaha from Bal Bamori village in Vidisha district, has been missing for three days. He recorded the video near the pond at Karila Dham.

In the video, he said, “I never did anything good in my life. After my death, I want the crocodiles to have a meal. Please forgive me. I could do nothing, only wasted my life.”

According to information, he left home on Monday evening and later uploaded a video from near the Karila Dham pond.

In the video, Rakesh said that he found peace at Karila Dham.

He also mentioned that he is going to take poison, and if it did not kill him, he would jump into the pond, which has crocodiles.

According to Bahadurpur police station in-charge Arvind Kachuwaha, Rakesh’s family filed a missing complaint on Tuesday.

The police immediately informed the SDRF team, which started a search operation in the pond. However, there is no sign of Rakesh yet. Only his mobile phone was found at the location.

It is still unclear whether he jumped into the pond or not. The reason behind his decision is also unknown.

His missing complaint has been registered at Pathari police station in Vidisha district. The SDRF team continues to search for him.
