Mahindra has revealed the official price list for its electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, marking an important step in the company’s transition towards sustainable mobility. These models offer a combination of innovative technology, sleek design, and impressive performance.

The BE 6 will be available in five variants: Pack One, Pack One Above, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three. The XEV 9e will come in four configurations: Pack One, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three. Notably, both models’ Pack Three variants are equipped with the larger 79kWh battery, while the other trims come with a 59kWh battery. Customers can begin booking both models on February 14, with deliveries expected to start in March.

With pricing starting at Rs 18.90 lakh and going up to Rs 26.90 lakh for the BE 6, and Rs 21.90 lakh to Rs 30.50 lakh for the XEV 9e (both ex-showroom), Mahindra has positioned the two electric SUVs as premium offerings in the EV market. However, the price doesn’t include the cost of the charger, which will be an additional Rs 50,000 for the 7.2kW charger and Rs 75,000 for the 11kW option.

Battery Performance and Range

Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e offer two battery options: 59kWh and 79kWh. The BE 6’s 59kWh variant delivers 228bhp and 380Nm of torque, providing a range of up to 557km on a full charge. The 79kWh version produces 282bhp and offers a range of 683km. The XEV 9e, on the other hand, pairs its 59kWh battery with a 227bhp motor, while the 79kWh variant boosts output to 282bhp and achieves a range of 656km.

Features and Technology

The BE 6 stands out with its dual 12.3-inch screens, Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, adaptive cruise control, an augmented reality-based head-up display, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. The XEV 9e comes equipped with a triple-screen setup, an illuminated two-spoke steering wheel with an Infinity logo, a panoramic glass roof, and a 1400-watt Harman Kardon audio system. Additional features on the XEV 9e include front parking sensors, wireless charging, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and multi-zone climate control.

Both models are packed with advanced features that cater to a premium driving experience, making them strong contenders in the rapidly growing electric vehicle segment in India.
