Mahindra has expanded its electric for-wheeler portfolio to include BE 6 and XEV 9E Electric SUVs. Both SUVs have attracted a lot of attention after launch. Within two months of the price announcement, the company has managed to supply 1837 units of both these electric SUVs, and has produced a total of 2281 units. Its production may be faster in the coming months.

Mahindra announced the prices of her cars under the top-down approach, in which the first top-spec model prices were declared, and later on the lower-slip variants. Booking of these SUVs starts from 14 February, and delivery will begin in March. The delivery will be done by August based on their variants. Mahindra’s first bourne electric vehicles XEV 9E and BE 6 prices are starting from Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 21.90 lakh respectively.

Features and Specifications of Mahindra BE 6

The design of BE 6 includes ‘BE’ logo, tangular LED DRLs, LED projector headlights, LED connected taillights, stylish roofline, floating front spiiler and 20-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts. Its interiors have dual antagrated screens, dual-spoke steering wheels and large glass roof. It has features such as wireless charging, advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), auto parking, multi-zone climate control, and 16-speaker premium audio systems.

There are 7 airbags, 360-degree cameras, and Level-2 Adas for safety. The Be 6 has 59kwh and 79kwh battery pack options, and it offers a 682km range claimed by ARAI. Its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 18.90 lakh.

Mahindra XEV 9E features and specifications

The XEV 9E has a length of 4789mm, width 1907mm, and height is 1694mm, as well as its wheelbase 2775mm. It has a 59kwh battery pack, which comes with a motor of 231hp/380nm. Its MIDC range is 542km, and it is charged in 20 minutes from the fast charger of 140kw.

In addition, XEV 9E’s 79kwh battery size variant comes with a motor of 286hp/380nm and provides a range of 656km. It charges 170kw fast charger in 20 minutes and catchs a speed of 0-100kph in 6.8 seconds. Its initial ex-showroom price is 21.90 lakh rupees.
