Discontented over being excluded from the Mahayuti cabinet, veteran NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal has once again voiced his frustration. In an effort to pacify him, the NCP has reportedly offered him positions like a Rajya Sabha member or Governor.

However, Bhujbal dismissed the idea, stating, “Becoming Governor would be like locking my mouth. What would I do as a Governor?” He emphasised that his primary commitment has always been to addressing issues faced by the underprivileged. “As Governor, would I be able to resolve those problems? I do not want to dishonor the position of Governor,” he remarked.

Bhujbal further asserted that those in power should explain why he was not made a minister. While he acknowledged that political situations change, he maintained that he had no objections. However, he reiterated his dedication to fighting for the common people and stated that he would not accept positions that would limit his ability to continue his work.

Reflecting on his political journey, Bhujbal recalled the Lok Sabha elections, where he was encouraged to contest due to his strong track record in Nashik and the support he received from the community. However, a month later, his name was not announced, leading to his withdrawal from the race.
