Priyanka Gandhi’s attack on Mahayuti : Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday criticized the policies of the ruling BJP, claiming that shifting of some big projects to Gujarat led to the loss of jobs in Maharashtra. Addressing a rally in Gadchiroli district ahead of the November 20 assembly elections, Priyanka claimed that ruling coalition leaders were trying to divert attention from real issues and polarize the society.

Priyanka Gandhi mentioned the Mahayuti government’s Ladli Behan scheme and said, ‘Women should not vote on the Rs 1500 they get every month to live a good life. The Congress leader also said that if Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) comes to power, they will give MSP of Rs 7,000 per quintal to the farmers for soybean crop.
‘More than 2.5 lakh posts are vacant in Maharashtra’
Congress General Secretary said, ‘More than 2.5 lakh posts are vacant in Maharashtra. Jobs are being lost in the state as Foxconn, Airbus projects are shifted to Gujarat. People are trying, learning new skills, yet they are not getting jobs. This should have been the first focus of the government, but the government has failed to fill these vacancies.
‘Most youth suicides are taking place in Maharashtra’
He said, ‘Maharashtra has the highest number of youth suicide cases in the country, which is the result of BJP’s failure to stop unemployment. During the election campaign, on the slogan of BJP leaders ‘Ek hote to salamat hoon’, Gandhi said that the word ‘security’ has two me.ngs – security and treasure. “Only Ad. is really safe in this country,” he alleged. The entire country knows that Ad. is the only person who has access to the government’s treasury, while common citizens are struggling.
