Today is the day of Maharashtra Assembly election results. The counting is still going on. The BJP-led Mahayuti alliance is all set to return to government with a huge lead. Talking about Versova seat, according to the latest information, Shiv Sena’s UBT candidate Harun Khan has won with 65396 votes with a lead of more than 1600 votes, while BJP’s Bharti Lakar is at second place with 63796 votes. But this seat has become a topic of discussion because of one candidate. It is known that Ajaz Khan, ex-contestant of Bigg Boss, actor and self-proclaimed brother of Mumbai, was contesting from this seat.
Ajaz Khan had contested the elections from Nagi MP Chandrashekhar Azad’s party Azad Samaj Party (Kashiram). But in terms of votes it has barely crossed the 100 mark.
5.6 million on Instagram
Ajaz Khan, who has more than 100,000 followers and 4.1 million followers on Facebook, got only 155 votes even after 18 rounds of counting. This figure is much less than NOTA. So far 1216 votes have been cast in NOTA. On November 20, 51.02 percent voting took place on this seat.
