Mumbai, 18 November (HS). During the assembly elections in Maharashtra, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed 64 campaign meetings across the state. Fadnavis addressed the last meeting in Wardha as the election campaign came to an end in the state on Monday.
According to the information, the Election Commission had announced the voting process in a single phase for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra on October 15, but the intensity of the election campaign started after Diwali. Devendra Fadnavis addressed 64 election campaign meetings in just 13 days after Diwali. During this period, Devendra Fadnavis has traveled to more than 25 districts and represented the remaining districts through video messages. In these meetings he mainly emphasized on schemes for farmers. In the campaign meetings, he talked about free electricity to the farmers, electricity during the day, solar agricultural pumps, crop insurance at one rupee, seven times payment to the farmers as soon as the government comes, Kisan Samman Nidhi should be increased from 12 thousand to 15 thousand, price of soybean at Rs 6000. Given, the state has promised to refund GST on fertilizers. In his election speech, Devendra Fadnavis has tried to convey the schemes of the state and central government to the people.
