Mumbai: The Maharashtra government, led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, allocated portfolios to its ministers on Saturday. The announcement followed the conclusion of the Winter Session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly earlier in the day.

During a media briefing, Chief Minister Fadnavis stated, “The way is clear for portfolio allotment. You can expect it tonight or by tomorrow.” However, the portfolios were finalised and announced this evening.

As per reports, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has retained the Home Ministry, as well as Law and Judiciary. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has been assigned Urban Development, Housing, and Public Works. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been given charge of Finance and Planning, along with the Excise Department.

5 Shri. Girish Geeta Dattatraya Mahajan: Water Resources (Vidharbha, Tapi, Konkan Development Corporation), Disaster Management
