Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava was released last month. The film has been doing exceptionally well at the box office, and Vicky’s performance in the movie is getting a lot of praises. Recently, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, watched the movie along with other MLAs and MLCs in Mumbai. After watching the movie, he spoke to the media and gave his review about Chhaava.
While talking to the media, he said, “Bahot sundar movie banayi gayi hai. Hamari sanyogi mantri Aditi Tatkare, inn hone aaj yeh screening rakhi hai saare MLAs aur MLCs ke liye. (A beautiful film has been made. My co-minister, Aditi Tatkare, kept the screening for all the MLAs and MLCs today).”
The CM further spoke about how history writers did injustice to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He said, “Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj ke upar itihas likhne walo ne bahot anyaay kiya, lekin iss cinema ke maadhyam se unki veerta, shaurya, chaturya, budhimakta, gyaan, yeh saare unke jeevan ke pehlo yeh janta ke saamne aarahe hai. (Those who wrote history on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj did injustice to him, but through this movie, his valour, bravery, cleverness, intelligence, knowledge, all these aspects of his life are coming in front of the audience).”
“Jis prakar se Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ke baad lagatar Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj ne Swarajya ka rakshan kiya, dev, desh aur dharam ka rakshan kiya, yeh saari chize iske maadhyam se logo ke saamne aarahi hai. Main iss film ke nirmatao ka aur puri team ka bahot abhinandan karna chahunga. (After Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the way Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj protected Swarajya, god, country and religion, everything is coming in front of people though this movie. I would like to congratulate the producers of this film and the entire team),” Fadnavis added.
Now, let’s wait and watch whether Chhaava will be soon announced tax-free in Maharashtra or not.
Meanwhile, Chhaava in 20 days has collected Rs. 477.65 crore which is excellent. It is expected that the Vicky Kaushal starrer will reach the Rs. 500 crore mark.
