A man fell into a well in an attempt to escape a herd of dogs in Kannada in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra, where he remained trapped for about 48 hours. The police informed about the incident on Friday.
According to Vasant Patil, an officer of the Pishore police station, 30 -year -old Sandeep Ghatkawade fell into a 60 -foot deep well in an attempt to escape the dogs at around 4 pm on Tuesday evening. The well had up to 10 feet of water, but fortunately he grabbed the rope tied on the shore, so that he could somehow save himself.
Because no one could see them falling, and their voice did not reach the passers -by, so he remained stuck in the well for a long time.
Life saved from children’s vigilance
At around 2 pm on Thursday afternoon, some children approached the well searching for bee hive. Seeing the stir, Ghatakawade shouted loudly, causing the children to be alert and called the people around.
Local people pulled them out with the help of tires. The official said that Ghatkawade had not eaten anything since Tuesday afternoon. After primary treatment, the doctor allowed him to go home.
Couple arrested for murder of 4 -year -old adopted daughter
In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, a couple were arrested for killing their 4 -year -old adopted daughter. The police gave this information on Friday.
Sillod resident Fauzia Sheikh and her husband Faheem Sheikh are accused of killing their adopted daughter Aat and tried to cremate her in a hurry.
The couple told the police that they had adopted the rectangle 6 months ago. The girl was rushed to the sub-district hospital at around 3 am on Wednesday, where doctors declared her dead.
Police stopped the funeral
A person from the area informed the police that the girl did not die of any health related complexity or disease. After this information, the police immediately took action and stopped Fauzia and Faheem from performing the funeral of the girl.
Police sent the body of the verse for postmortem, so that the truth could be revealed. The investigation of the case is going on.
