Cleaning of Mahakumbh became the subject of discussion
This Mahakumbh was also in the discussion for its cleanliness, in which the cleaning workers played an important role. At the Mahakumbh Mela, Dr. Anand Singh, in-charge of the cleaning department, told PTI-Bhasha that 15,000 sweepers were on duty 24 hours during the fair. He fulfilled the responsibility of cleaning in many shifts and kept the toilets and ghats completely clean at the fair. Everyone praised his work. The stampede on the Mauni Amavasya at the Mahakumbh Mela strengthened its image, but the incident had no significant impact on the faith of the devotees and the arrival of the people continued unabated. 30 people died in a stampede.

However, this fair was also in the discussion due to many controversies, such as film actress Mamta Kulkarni became Mahamandaleshwar and controversy related to it. Apart from this, the report of the National Pollution Control Board (NPCB) on the purity of Ganga water and then by quoting the government, the correctness of Ganga water was also discussed by many scientists. 13 Akharas took a bath in Mahakumbh.
