After the completion of the Amrit bath in Sangam city Prayagraj, the Naga monks of all the akhadas are slowly leaving from Mahakumbh. Now only 7 Naga monks of the arena are left, who will leave for Kashi on 12 February. But do you know that they do two important tasks before leaving Mahakumbh. Let’s know what is there.

Naga sadhus left Aquarius

It is believed that according to a tradition, when Naga Sadhu leaves Mahakumbh, they eat curry and pakoras. It is also his tradition that he loosens the rope of the religious flag hoisted in his camp. The matter was explained by a saint of the old arena and said that this is a centuries -old tradition. Today is Friday and 7 February. This is the 27th day of Mahakumbh. Mahakumbh will continue for the next 19 days. 26 February is the last day of Mahakumbh.

The important thing is that three nectar baths of Naga sadhus have been completed. So Naga Sadhu is returning from Mahakumbh. On Thursday, some Naga monks of the arena left from here. Whereas, Naga of some akhadas will depart from February 12. At the same time, some sages of the arena took a bath on Vasant Panchami and left. Naga monks of seven akharas will now go directly to Kashi Vishwanath.

Naga Sadhu will go to Kashi

It is being told that due to Mahashivaratri, Naga of 7 Akharas will go to Kashi Vishwanath. They will stay here till 26th i.e. Mahashivratri. After this, they will return to their respective grounds. A procession of Naga Sadhus will be taken out in Banaras on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. He will play Holi at the crematorium and take a bath in the Ganges. This means that Naga will return after completing three tasks.

Why is Amrit bath important?

Amrit bath is very important for sages and saints. It is believed that taking a bath in the nectar gives a virtue of a thousand Ashwamedha Yajna. After bathing the nectar in Mahakumbh, sages and sages become absorbed in meditation. After the last nectar bath, all Naga departs towards their arena.

The arena will depart before Maghi Purnima.

Srimanta Narayan Giri of the old Akhara said that after Vasant Panchami, the bathing of Maghi Purnima and Mahashivratri is for the common devotees and the saints of the akhara do not stop in the Mahakumbh for this. Therefore, before Purnima (Maghi Purnima), all saints and saints will leave from here.
