Dome City is being built in Arel area of Mahakumbh area. 22 major structures have been built in the city. Each structure is divided into two parts. Domes have been prepared in both the parts at a height of about 15 feet from the ground. The dome is a room made of fiber sheets, which is used as both a bedroom and drawing room. The domes prepared for Mahakumbh have been covered with colorful curtains all around and these curtains open with remote control.
An attraction of Dome City
The curtains on the roof of the dome can also be removed with a remote to see the stars twinkling in the night sky. The hostel also has a toilet and bathroom. An open air space has been placed on the platform outside each dome. There will be chairs and tables. From this open space people will be able to have darshan of Mother Ganga and will also be able to see the activities of Maha Kumbh. The interior of the dome is decorated in such a way that as soon as you enter inside, you feel a different world.
Know what preparations have been made in Dome City
There are also four wooden cottages built under each dome. Apart from this, a big Dargah is being prepared in Dome City. There are also small yagyashalas for devotees to perform yagyas and pujas individually. Apart from this, space will be left for doing yoga and a temple will also be built. There will be cultural programs and aarti every evening in Dome City.
How much is the rent for the dome?
Rs 1,11,000 per day to stay in a dome in Dome City. However, this fare is for one day of the bath festival and beyond. On other days, the fare for one night stay is Rs 81,000. Moreover, on normal days it costs you Rs 41,000 per day to stay in a wooden cottage, while on peak days you have to pay Rs 61,000 for it. This includes pickup and drop from anywhere in the city as well as the cost of breakfast and lunch.
